IT WORKED!

My husband and I couldn't afford the $2400 for an immigration lawyer. I bought this book, read it carefully, and followed everything that was written in it. I got my green card yesterday. Two-and-a-half months after we sent off our application. This book presents all the required info in a very easy-to-follow format. It also demystifies the green card process and makes it SO less complicated. Our situation was very straightforward: we both live in the US, neither one of us has a criminal history, I entered the country *legally* and have proof that I did. If your situation is uncomplicated like our's was, I say ditch the idea of hiring an attorney and get this book instead. Had we hired an attorney, it would've been a very easy $2400 for that person.
