Serves as a Handbook for Sexual Abuse Recovery

After reading this book, I was struck at how thorough and complete it is for every stage of this difficult recovery journey. It is a wonderful tool for every survivor of sexual abuse, whatever form that abuse may take. It is also a great book for anyone who would like to know more about what it takes to help those who suffer from the deep soul wounds of this type of abuse. I think it is also a very useful tool for counselors, therapists, family members and spouses of survivors! Anyone who has a desire to help in the recovery process will benefit from reading and re-reading this great little book! It is full of stories of personal struggles and personal victories. From cover to cover, it gives honor to God as the Healer of all our soul wounds. The poetry and artwork are beautifully done. This is a book that will move you to tears time and time again. It will change your heart and your life and give you the tools to walk alongside hurting people as they struggle toward wholeness and maturity in Christ.

Awesome Book

I love this book! It is written for people like me, who have gone through the terror of sexual abuse. There were so many times that I could see myself in it's pages, what is described here is what I live through everyday. I really appreciate that there are contributions (poems, stories, artwork) from other survivors who have given a voice to their pain and anguish.
