Review
“The nation’s largest publisher of self-help legal books and software.” The Wall Street Journal
“Nolo helps lay people perform legal tasks without the aid―or fees―of lawyers.” USA Today
"Nolo’s Deposition Handbook uses clear and simple language to provide suggestions and advice on depositions. The handbook explains what will happen at a deposition and offers instructions for how to respond in different situations. Example scripts are used throughout the text to illustrate a variety of topics including the three “golden rules” for answering questions and tricks that lawyers may use to affect your testimony. It also explains how to arrange depositions dates and prepare ahead of time. The sixth edition includes sections updated with the latest statutes and a new section on electronic discovery. This guide is beneficial for anyone facing a deposition whether they have a lawyer representing them or not." Eithne O'Leyne, Editor Ringgold, Inc. ProtoView
