Thorough, up to date, well suited for left to right reading and reference

For being a huge tome on copyright law it has proven to be extremely easy to read and follow through. Lots of examples repeated over the text, and although this might sound weird, it is a great way to make this text easy to follow. Extremely readable, anyone interested in law could read it regardless of previous knowledge and come out understanding how intellectual property works fairly well.
Very up to date.

excellent Intellectual Property reference book

As a paralegal, with an interest in intellectual property for managing my website and publishing company for my books and seminars, this is an invaluable tool which guides me and keeps me safe from making mistakes of infringing. And also gives me tools to deter others from infringing on my works. I took an IP class at Santa Clara University years ago, and this desk reference was purchased as an update so I am fresh on the current law.
Easy to read, created in sections so you can skip around to relevant topics be it patent, trademark, or copyright. I am very appreciative of this work.

Good quick refence book!

I purchased this book to supplement some other material that is very detailed. This book is a good starting point to refer to when IP, trademark or copyright issues arise. It reads well. It is not a guide for writing claims etc .. for that consult an attorney and or buy a more advanced publication.
